Hello you!
This past couple of weeks has felt like one of those quiet turning points… the kind you almost do not notice while you are in it, but can feel gently settling in your chest.
Some weeks ago, packed up a small part of my world and brought it to Mississippi Kunst og Kulturcenter, where some of my tiles will now be for a while. There is something both strange and beautiful about leaving your creations in someone else’s care… like sending little pieces of your heart out into the world, not quite knowing who will meet them, or what they might feel.
At the same time, these days have been full. I have been working quietly behind the scenes, tying together all the small threads that will soon become Birds by Post. Final details, tiny decisions, things that no one will ever really see… but that somehow holds everything together.
It feels a little like standing on the edge of something new.
Exciting… and a little bit fragile.
And in between it all, spring has begun to return.
You can feel it in the light. In the air that no longer bites quite as sharply. In the birds, who seem to carry a different kind of energy now… as if they too, know that something is beginning again.
I always find this time of year so comforting. A quiet reminder that things do not have to rush. That change can happen softly, almost unnoticed, until one day you look around and everything feels a little more alive.
I have also chosen which birds I will be focussing on this month, and that is eagles! I have never really depicted them, but I guess that time has come.
Thank you for being here, in this small space I am creating.
It truly means more than I can put into words.
With warmth,
Tine 🕊️
